We have put together a complete HornyAffairs.com review because we believe the internet is full of possible connections. A guy no longer has to wait for that serendipitous moment at the grocery store or that one night at the bar to meet the right woman. He can sign up for a dating site and peruse what the world has to offer from his couch or bed. But we all know there is a dark side to the world wide web as well.
But we all know there is a dark side to the world wide web as well. We have all accidentally stumbled upon a horrific video, or a virus-laden spam site. The dark corners of the internet are not only ugly, but dangerous. This is also true for dating sites. They are not all to be trusted. And that’s why you have us. We are such big fans of dating online that we review a huge number of sites every year and compile the results in our list of the highest quality hookup sites to try.
We have gone through the many sites and written reviews for you, so you can know what’s good and what’s a waste of time before you even visit. So, let’s get down to it.
That was my first question when I went to the site. Who is tying the knot? Their logo is a garish red background with a couple of wedding rings bound together as if embracing in eternal love. This is a strange logo for a site called “horny affairs”. Aren’t affairs the things that break up marriages or happen outside of them? This is not off to a good start. A quality dating site will always match its advertising with its service.
We always try to make our reviews as short as we can while still giving you all the info we found. We are going to save you a lot of trouble and say you should just use Adult FriendFinder.
Simply put, while putting together our Horny Affairs review we didn't find anything we would recommend.
You should be spending your time on the two best sites from our hookup apps and sites review. We rated and tested all the popular sites and apps and the only two where results are likely are Tinder and Adult FriendFinder.
If you are a very good looking dude looking to hook up with women under 28 Tinder is for you. If you are not the hottest thing around, are not exclusively interested in women under 28, or are very focused on finding a hookup instead of a date you need to try Adult FriendFinder's free trial now.
I mean that it’s boring. It’s got just a few options on the menus, a bad color scheme, a reckless-looking layout. Hornyaffairs looks like Yelp did ten years ago. It looks like it was designed in an afternoon, as a project by a high school student. First marriage, now a boring main page. What is going on with this site?
If you are tired of wasting time you should just skip over to our compilation of the best sites for actually hooking up. Check it out.
I decided that maybe I just had to dig a bit below the surface of HornyAffairs to see the real diamond in the rough. We always do a thorough review of the quality of a website's members. So, I did a few searches for local members. And I got a bunch of results. There were tons of hot older women all around me, it said. So, I clicked on one of them. That’s when my illusions were shattered.
The woman had a stunning profile picture, but no other photos. A lot of her basic information wasn’t even filled out. And then I read the ‘about me’ section. It said: “cool-headed persona and easily going .i like traveling and reading and meeting friends I love to watch comedy film and discuss the politics and very controversial and conservative.”
Okay, I know some people don’t have as much education as I do. But this clearly was not written by a native English speaker, which this woman claimed she was in her demographics section. The text looked like it was put through a drunk Google translator. It just didn’t add up with the picture and her other basic information. Ironically, her profile said she worked in education (if our teachers write like that, we have an issue).
This is a good way to spot fake profiles, by looking at how these match or don’t match. And where there are fake profiles, you definitely have some deeper issues.
Once I realized that one profile was probably fake, I began looking into the others. There were a ton of profiles with incomplete information and weird ‘about me’ sections. I decided to do one of my foolproof tests. I took one of the profile images, and I did a reverse Google search. And I got a ton of hits. The photo I was looking up was all over the net, mostly in lingerie photo collections. Who uses a photo stolen from another website for their profile picture? Definitely not someone who is trying to actually meet up in real life. And maybe it’s not a real person at all...
That’s how it’s stated in the terms and conditions, which I decided to read for this Horny Affairs review. It says: “We aim to entertain and amuse you – and in order to enhance your enjoyment of the time you spend with us, we will employ technical means to engage you in the simulation of flirting with and discovering other attractive people. If we do it well, you may never be able to tell that we are doing it or know when it happens.”
Technical means, huh? Sounds...not so hot. And we may never be able to tell that it’s happening? That just sounds creepy. But it’s also the standard fare for scam dating sites. They make a bunch of fake profiles and then use bots or underpaid employees in another part of the world to ‘chat’ with you. They say nasty, enticing things to try to lure guys in further.
This happened to me multiple times while I was on the site. Each time I tried to write back to the women, I was told that first I had to upgrade.
All of those alerts that came up when I tried to send messages were not the only ways the site tried to take my money. HornyAffairs took every chance they could get to send me to an upgrade page.
Some legit dating sites do have ‘premium’ services that really work. But they aren’t always trying to promote those to their free members. Whenever you are on a site that is constantly trying to take your credit card info for trial memberships and other ‘good deals’ you should be very wary.
Another thing I noticed about this site is that they kept trying to get me to upload a photo. One of the fake profiles sent me a message about it. And they even had a section called “Proven tips that will help you in finding a sexy date.” Uploading a photo (or multiple) was the first tip on there. Why are they trying to see my beautiful face so badly?
It could have something to do with what I read on their terms and conditions page. It said: “You agree that you have a severely diminished and attenuated expectation of privacy with respect to any information, files, or data you provide or upload to HORNYAFFAIRS.COM or which is collected by it in association with your identity. In fact, you grant us extensive rights concerning them to use them all commercially.”
Extensive rights, severely diminished. That’s some strong language. They aren’t being shy about it here in the fine print. They will take your info and content, and they will do whatever the please with it.
I noticed another sketchy thing while I was looking around this site. There are links on the main menu for ‘live sex’ and ‘Get a Hard C***’. Aside from being less than classy, these are clear signs that this dating site is geared only towards men. What would the women members see in that menu? Presumably not something about getting a hard P****. Also, these menu items link to way sketchy, third party sites.
Third party links are one of the biggest red flags for fake dating sites. Why would they want to send you to another site? Why would they want you to ogle at beautiful women elsewhere, if the real purpose is to meet women to date? Of course, they aren’t actually trying to find you a date at all.
I tried to find out more information about Horny Affairs on social media. Most legit dating sites will have some social media presence. I couldn’t find anything. I couldn’t find a member count either, which means they don’t want you to know how many members they actually have (my guess is that it’s somewhere between zero and seven). All of the signs here point to trouble. This is a scam site, that is definitely trying to take your money, and a photo of your face, and run with it. I hope that you have found this Horny affairs review helpful!
