These girls are a bit too eager and you have to pay for it
Another clear sign that you are on a scam site is when the girls seem a bit too eager to get to know you. Yes, you might be hot stuff, but you aren’t that hot, trust me.
Within minutes of creating a very boring, stripped-down profile on the site, I got three messages and a few ‘stars’, meaning I was put on someone’s hotlist. I didn’t even have a picture up. And this was actually what one of the messages was about. It said, “Angel2Love22 requested a photo of you.”
I clicked onto her profile, which featured a girl who looked quite young (maybe too young to be on a dating site). Her self-description began, “I am joy,am an Easy going, open-minded ,positive and attractive (so I’m told of course!).” If that was hard for you to read, you are not alone. That kind of chopped up English isn’t some avant-garde poetry, it’s a clear red flag saying that the account isn’t real. It was either written by someone in another country, or by a robot. It certainly wasn’t the ‘local girl’ you wanted to be chatting with.
But Joy wasn’t the only one who wanted a photo from me. There was another message asking me for a picture, too. Why do these girls want a picture so bad?
FlirtHookup Can Steal Your Photos
I wanted to know what would happen to my photo if I did upload it to the site, so I decided to read through the User Agreement for this FlirtHookup review. What I found out was very alarming.
There are many clauses alluding to the company’s ability to use your content, but the most direct one is this:
“You expressly consent to our disclosure and commercial use of the Content that you upload, communicate or transmit in your use of our Services and to our disclosure and the commercial use of any data or information derived or acquired from your use of the Services, including use by third-party advertisers, without effect to the other releases, grants, and licenses contained in this Agreement.”
In short, they can take anything you put into the site, whether it’s your profile picture or a private message, and use that in any way they want, including advertising. I guess that’s why those “girls” wanted a picture so badly. Unless you want your private pictures showing up on some advertisement for Viagra, I wouldn’t upload anything onto this site.
They Will Also Steal Your Time
Another thing I discovered in the fine print of FlirtHookup.com is that it’s actually not a dating site at all! According to their own agreement, the site “is intended and operated only for purposes of entertainment and fun and for no other purpose or purposes.” How fun it is to converse with fake women who want to steal my photographs!
In fact, the User Agreement doesn’t make the site sound fun at all. In one part is says, “Simply put, you are most sincerely advised not to disclose anything about yourself in our Services – even in messages – that you don’t want to be known publicly – and that you should not use our Services at all unless you have a very thick skin.”
I, for one, don’t want a dating site that is going to belittle me and make my private information public.
We Found a Lot of Fake Profiles in our FlirtHookup.com Review
If we want to add FlirtHookup to the top of our premier cougar dating sites review we need to know that all the advertised profiles are real. I tried to find out how many members the site has, but that information wasn’t anywhere to be found. When I did a basic search, it brought up a bunch of profiles, many of them with “explicit content” warnings. When I clicked on one of these photos I discovered that there is an option to turn on “Sexy” mode so that they show up unfiltered.
I turned it on, and I’ll just say it’s not exactly “Sexy”. NSFW, yes. Attractive? No.
Once I turned on the adult photos, I noticed that I recognized some of them. Not because they were my friends (that would be very awkward). It was because I have seen the same photos on other trashy sites that I have reviewed. A few reverse Google image searches confirmed this. It’s a clear sign that the profiles are fake.
But the real proof of the fake profiles is in the User Agreement. It says directly that “ In order to enhance your amusement experience, to stimulate you and others to use our Services more extensively, and to generally sprinkle some sparkle and excitement into the Services…we may post fictitious profiles…” Did they really just say “sprinkle some sparkle” in a legal document?

There Are Old Profiles on FlirtHookup
So, maybe not all of the profiles are fake on FlirtHookup. But, that doesn’t mean that they are all genuine. One of the things that the fine print requires is that “You agree that, even should you terminate this Agreement, portions of your profile may remain visible by other Members.” So, some of these women that I am seeing could have ‘deleted’ their account years ago. Trust me, you don’t stand a chance with a girl who doesn’t even want to be on the site in the first place!
There Are Links to Third Parties
No, a third party is not the third rager that you visit on a Saturday night. It’s not a place to meet beautiful older women. On the main page there are some links to “Live Sex” and “Get a Hard C***”. I tried to click on these links but they didn’t work (probably because of my adblocker). No Social Media Presence
Dating sites love to connect with their members over social media. It’s great free advertising and it helps to integrate their service into the rest of people’s social lives. The fact that Flirthookup.com doesn’t have a Facebook is very telling. What are they trying to hide?
There are a few Twitter accounts that have the Flirthookup handle, but they aren’t active. And I guess this makes sense, because they would probably be inundated with people calling them out for their fake, scam of a website.
