This CougarDateLink review is going to be a short one. Simply put, CougarDateLink is one of the lowest-rated sites in our Best Online Cougar Dating Site Review. Older women with younger men is not something you are going to find on CougarDateLink. The closest you are going to get on CougarDateLink is a robot pretending to be an attractive older woman trying to lure you into paying for a subscription.
After doing so many reviews of cougar dating sites one thing that never ceases to amaze me is how clever some of these fake sites have become. The creators of these sights know exactly who they are targeting and are becoming increasingly sophisticated with their fraudulent activities.
Now more than ever it is important to research any site before signing up to ensure that you will actually be joining a site that attractive cougars are actually on. A great example of this is our own Best Online Cougar Dating Site Review where we highlight the absolute best sites online for dating cougars.
CougarDateLink started out looking like a promising site. The homepage wasn't over the top. The design was fairly recent. They didn't even make any outrageous claims.
Unfortunately, as you will see, further examination proved them to be another site out to take your money without providing any real value.
Is CougarDateLink Legit or a Scam?
Warning Sign #1 - Lots Of Fake Profiles
Fake. Profiles. Everywhere. My first task after logging into a new cougar dating site like CougarDateLink is to do a Google Image Search on a few of the more attractive profiles.
I usually know I am dealing with fake profiles if the results show the following:
- The woman is a professional model
- The woman is on dozens of other dating sites
- The image has dozens or hundreds of results
- The women are obviously in their 20's but advertised as in their 40's
- Profiles show pictures of two different women
After checking a few profiles on Cougardatelink I need to add a new category "THE PICTURE IS OF A CELEBRITY". That's right. Whoever is creating Cougardatelilnk's fake profiles tried to slip in Catelyn Tarver's photo as a 30+ year old woman. Don't feel bad if you don't know who she is, I didn't either (she is an American singer and actor).
Illegitimate cougar dating websites are notorious for having mounds of fake profiles but this is the first time I have seen them try to pass off a celebrity. Considering this happened 10 seconds after entering CougarDateLink I am a little suspicious at this point. Most of the other profiles of the more attractive women that I searched look to be fake as well.
Overall I don't see any convincing evidence that the majority, if not all, of the female profiles on this site are fake. This is especially true for the attractive older women looking for younger men.
You will have more "cougar dates" on AFF and Cougar Life
Once you find a lot of fake profiles, like we did while reviewing Cougardatelink.com, you need to run away from that site as fast as you can. If a site needs to put up fake profiles you have zero chances of meeting an actual woman on it.
These are the top two sites in their respective areas and two of our favorites that have delivered. Both sites have many millions of members, allow you try them for free (just click on the links above), and give even average guys a real shot at success with a cougar.
Don't waste any more time with Cougar Date Link and try them out now.
Warning Sign #2 - Fake Chat Requests
This was another first for me. I have yet to find a cougar dating website that has fake chat requests. I am actually a little impressed with how clever they are because you cannot chat with a paid membership. I can picture a young gentleman who made the mistake of signing up for the sight without looking up reviews. Now he is getting multiple chat requests from attractive women but can't respond! I bet CougarDateLink has had quite a few people sign up because of these.
I tried to chat back to test the programs intelligence but immediately after you send your first message you are sent to the membership sign up page. I found this to be so devious I wasn't even mad, I was impressed!
After receiving four chat from requests as I sought out real older women with younger men it became pretty obvious that these were also fake.
Warning Sign #3 - Advertised As A Free Cougar Dating Site But Isn't
The site is advertised as free in a number of places but when you get inside you find that not to be the case. You can add your profile to the site and do very limited profile searches but that is it. You can't read profile, you can't chat, you certainly can't message any attractive women.
This site appears to be 100% designed to lure men into subscribing for a short period of time. Knowing that all new members will immediately cancel once they see what the site really is they are focused on getting whatever money they can without demonstrating any real value.
If you plan on spending any time on this site you will become very familiar with the screen to the left. This is the paid member screen that you are sent to as soon as your try to accomplish anything of value.
If this site was free I would not recommend you spending any time here. CougarDateLink has a lot of nerve if they honestly expect anyone to pay the same price per month that you can get memberships for at the very best sites we found in our Best Cougar Dating Site Review.
They truly are preying on unsuspecting guys who want nothing more than to find older women with younger men. DO NOT PAY FOR THIS SITE!
Warning Sign #4 - "Enhancement" Products
Right as I was about to leave this site forever and conclude my review I saw the tab labeled "Sexy Links". What could this possibly be? What treasure trove of knowledge will I find here? Oh, it's this...
CougarDateLink.com has decided to travel down the path that we all know 100% legitimate sites go down. They have decided to sell "enhancement" products for their male audience. Not only can you find older women with younger men on this site you can also find a number of other great products. Diet pills? CHECK. Extenders? CHECK. Pills incase the extender doesn't work? CHECK.
Once a cougar dating site turns into a bad spam email it is time to pull the plug on the review. I can see with supreme confidence that CougarDateLink is primarily focused with taking your money and not with helping you find older with with younger men.
