From the moment I began testing the site, I knew I’d be writing a lengthy warning about it. Within moments of creating a blank profile, I began to receive several spammy-looking messages from female accounts.
After leaving my blank profile to sit for a day, I came back to a bulging inbox of similarly spammy messages. New messages arrive especially quickly while you’re logged in. This is to entice you to pay for a premium membership, as you’re unable to see any messages or reply to them without doing so. Even though this is a terrible idea, we bit the bullet and purchased a premium account just to double-confirm that this site is a waste of time.
I received zero replies to my messages
I replied to 25 of the accounts that had left me messages and reached out to another 25 accounts (supposedly) based in Columbus, Ohio. After a few days, I had received a grand total of zero replies. The spammy messages from new accounts kept piling in, but no actual human connection.
There are no chat rooms on Meet Wild at all
There are several pages on the site that suggest you’ll be able to access an array of chat rooms when you create an account. In reality, there are no chat rooms at all. These pages would therefore only appear to exist for search engine optimization reasons.

I racked up dozens of notifications, before and after purchasing a premium account. These informed me about female accounts that supposedly viewed my profile, “winked” at me, “favorited” me and more…
It’s just a ploy to tempt you into purchasing a premium account or to keep you messaging people once you’ve done so. All signs suggest that there are no real people behind any of these accounts.
Why bother with a low-quality site if you can use AFF instead?
All things considered, the Meet Wild dating app is among the worst I’ve ever tested. Needless to say, there is absolutely no reason you should spend your hard-earned dollars on this website, especially when there are plenty of fantastic online dating services out there to choose from. I recommend you stay well away from MeetWild.com and try out AFF instead.
AFF not only has a huge user base of actual real women from all over the world, but most of them are incredibly keen to meet and hook up quickly. Profiles, pictures and members
There are plenty of multiple-choice questions to answer if you want to add more detail to your profile. You only get a short “status” to explain who you are in your own words. You can choose to add videos, as well as multiple photos if you wish. Interestingly, you can choose to opt in to having your profile used to advertise MeetWild across the web.
All of the female profiles have pictures of attractive women, but few of them have more than one sentence written in their bio. Typically, you’ll just see a single sentence explaining the age range and location of the man they’re looking for. Another clue that none of the accounts are run by real people.

MeetWild.com design
The site has a modern design and is easy to navigate. Your homepage is dominated by large pictures of accounts you might want to interact with. Your messages and notifications are shown in the top right hand corner of the screen.
When you click to chat with a member, a small window pops up in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen and you can access your previous messages from this. It’s a convenient way of doing things that other dating websites should steal. In fact, I’d have no problem if a legitimate online dating website stole the entire design of MeetWild.com.
Messaging and chatting
If you have a free account, you won’t be able to message anyone, nor read or reply to the messages you receive. The messages you do receive with a free account supposedly disappear after an hour.
If you have a paid membership, you can send unlimited messages to unlimited accounts. Either way, you’ll be flooded with messages from bots who won’t respond if you reply to them.
Read receipts are only available as a paid add-on. This add-on also allows you to appear at the top of other members’ inboxes. This could potentially be useful if there were any real humans to communicate with on this website.
If you like, you can send one “Flirtcast” every 12 hours. This is presumably a mass message sent out to multiple women. This isn’t obvious though, and the message is predetermined. You can’t even choose what it says…
Advertisements
Another red flag, in case you needed more!
There are adverts for other online dating websites dotted around the site. These are (surely) other URLs owned by the same company, so I’d imagine these websites are just as terrible. One hyperlink told me “16 girls ready to meet up.” Another said “7 girls wanna be with you.” Both ads sent me to a different URL. How could there be girls waiting for me on websites I’ve never heard of?

You can buy premium memberships for one day, one week, one month or three months. You’ll pay less per day if you choose a longer membership. This was the cost at the time of the review, where they were running a 30% off sale.

Three months: $48.60 ($0.54 a day)
You can also pay extra for extra features such as HTTPS encryption, incognito browsing, auto history cleaning, appearing top in other users’ inboxes, read receipts and appearing higher in search results. For all of these features, you’ll pay an extra $0.95 per day.
Don’t be fooled by the relatively low prices. None of these MeetWild plans are worth the money.
